The exhibit features 30 works by 21 artists in a wide range of subjects and styles. Paintings are created with water-based media – including transparent watercolors, gouache, acrylics and more – executed in an aqueous manner on paper or board.

The juror for this year’s exhibition is Jes Reger-Davis, a watercolorist and teaching artist based in Wheeling. Jes has been exhibiting her work since 2015 in a number of juried exhibits throughout West Virginia.

Aqueous 2024 is on display through July 31. The Wheeling Artisan Center Gallery is open Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., and on Saturdays, noon - 5 p.m. Admission is free. View artwork for purchase at wheelingheritage.org/aqueous.
