Aqueous 2024 at the Wheeling Artisan Center Gallery is the national juried exhibition of the West Virginia Watercolor Society (WVWS). The opening reception and award presentation will be held on Friday, June 28, from 1 - 3 p.m.

The exhibit features 30 works by 21 artists in a wide range of subjects and styles. Paintings are created with water-based media – including transparent watercolors, gouache, acrylics and more – executed in an aqueous manner on paper or board.

The juror for this year’s exhibition is Jes Reger-Davis, a watercolorist and teaching artist based in Wheeling. Jes has been exhibiting her work since 2015 in a number of juried exhibits throughout West Virginia.

Aqueous 2024 is on display through July 31. The Wheeling Artisan Center Gallery is open Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., and on Saturdays, noon - 5 p.m. Admission is free.
