Weelunk Challenges You with Their Summer Bucket List Challenge

WHEELING, W.Va. – July 1, 2022 – While we hit the stride of summer, Weelunk is challenging the community to explore Wheeling with their new Summer Bucket List Challenge. When you complete an activity, post a photo on Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #WheelingSummerBucketList and also tagging Weelunk. By checking off 10 activities on the list by August 1, you will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a summer-themed gift package from the Artisan Center Shop. 

Included on the bucket list are activities such as: kayak down Wheeling Creek, play glow-in-the-dark mini golf, see an outdoor movie, and attend summer concerts. While completing 10 activities is needed to enter the raffle, if you complete all 20, you will get an extra entry. 

“We know that there are so many fun things to do in Wheeling throughout the summer, so we figured why not turn it into a fun community challenge,” said Alex Panas, program manager for Wheeling Heritage. “We hope that this challenge encourages people to try something new and find new things to appreciate about the place we call home.”
