Show of Hands: Black-Owned Business Edition

Save the date for Show of Hands: Black-Owned Business Edition! This special edition of Show of Hands will feature four Black entrepreneurs who will showcase the products and services they offer our community in hopes of taking home the top prize.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. with presentations starting at 6:30 p.m.

Show of Hands is a community-supported crowd-funding event. Community members are presented with four projects that would positively impact Wheeling. Then, attendees vote on their favorite.

HOW SHOW OF HANDS WORKS:
– Attendees make a donation of at least $5 for a vote.
– Four presenters share their proposals for projects that benefit the community.
– Attendees cast their vote for the project they want to help fund.
– The project with the most votes receives all of the money raised at the door + the prize from community partners.
– Winners come back to a future Show of Hands to tell the audience how their project went/is progressing, how they used the money, and the impact the project had on the community.
– Online voting will be available.

Your attendance at Show of Hands is greatly appreciated and will show individuals presenting projects that they have the support of a strong community.
