Make your own ceramic pinch pots with Carrie Dawson, owner and ceramic artist of Morning Light Studio. Come join us to make your own piece of beautiful art!

Pinch pots are a simple form of hand-made pottery created by pressing your thumb into a ball of clay and working the clay outwards into a pot or vessel.

At this workshop, Carrie will demonstrate the process of making the pot and then attendees will get to make their own. The pots will then be taken back to Carrie’s studio for firing, and attendees will pick up their completed creations at the Artisan Center at a later date.

This event is free and open to the public but limited to 15 participants. Reservations are required to ensure that enough supplies are available. RSVP by sending an email to apanas@wheelingheritage.org or by calling 304-232-3087.
