Handmade Holiday: Accepting Vendor Applications Starting July 31
WHEELING, W.Va. – July 25, 2024 – Wheeling Heritage is excited to announce the return of
Handmade Holiday on Saturday, Dec. 7. This annual event highlights the talents of local creative
entrepreneurs, providing the public the opportunity to discover unique gifts crafted by artisans
from Wheeling and the surrounding region. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., visitors can explore a variety
of handcrafted goods, including original artwork, prints, pottery, and more.
Vendor applications for this one-day juried makers’ market will open on Wednesday, July 31. A
selection committee will review each application, considering craftsmanship, creativity, and
presentation factors. Applications must be submitted online by Friday, Sept. 6 at
https://wheelingheritage.org/handmade-holiday/.
“Handmade Holiday is an exciting opportunity for local artisans to showcase their unique
creations and for the people of the community to come shop, explore, and begin preparations for
the holiday season. We are eager to see the diverse range of talent that this annual event brings
together,” said Riley Carpenter, director of programming at Wheeling Heritage.

• Cost to Participate (once accepted): $55
