Save the Date: FidoFest 2024
Mark you calendars for the return of FidoFest on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Wheeling Park!
Celebrate the reveal of a new art installation featuring artwork created by local residents of their pets, and enjoy a day full of dog-friendly activities for dog-lovers from across our community.
This free community event will feature several activities that both humans and dogs will love, including a trick dog show, dog costume contest, dog-oriented vendors, pictures with your pooch, and more!

11:45 a.m. Team Zoom Canine Entertainment (Session 1)
Get ready to experience the Midwest’s most hilarious and acrobatic pups at this highly-anticipated trick dog show!
12:15 p.m. Zoom Meet ‘n Greet
12:30 p.m. Dog Costume Contest
Sponsored by the Upper Ohio Valley Building and Construction Trades Council
Dress your pup in their best costume and have them strut across the stage for our FidoFest Costume Contest. The top dog will take home a $100 gift card to Dirty Paws. Contestants will be scored on originality, execution, and entrance. Register on the day of the event at the Volunteer Wheeling welcome table.

Volunteer Wheeling hosted the first FidoFest on May 6, 2023 at the Fitzsimmons Family Dog Park in East Wheeling. During this event, a new public art installation was revealed from January’s Paint Your Pup event!
