6:30 pm - 7:30 pmEach year, dozens of Ohio County properties, whose owners are delinquent in paying property taxes, are offered for sale. The WV State Auditor, in collaboration with the Ohio County Sheriff, auctions the properties, beginning a long process toward new ownership. Would you like more information on how this works?
Friends of Wheeling and Wheeling Heritage are hosting a Tax Sale Seminar, beginning at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, October 15, at the Wheeling Artisan Center, 1400 Main Street. Attendees will include WV State Senator Ryan Weld, along with some local residents who have personal experience with these tax sales. All are welcome to attend.
