Handmade Holiday: Spring Market

Just in time for Mother’s Day, Handmade Holiday: Spring Market gives you the chance to discover unique gifts made by local entrepreneurs and artisans.

Building on the success of our popular Handmade Holiday event, Wheeling Heritage will host a spring maker’s market on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Wheeling Artisan Center.

Handmade Holiday is inspired by the independent craft fair movement throughout the country. The event strives to establish a marketplace of unique and creative handmade goods that supports local artists while increasing awareness about handmade, locally-produced craft goods and processes.

Vendor Information:

• Applications for Handmade Holiday will be accepted through Friday, March 10.
• Vendor fees are $55. A $5 application deposit is required at the time of application. If accepted into the event, your card will be charged an additional $50 to cover your vendor fees on Friday, March 17. Applicants who do not advance to the market will be refunded.
• Vendors must sell products that are handmade/hand-crafted by the juried artists. Mass-produced merchandise is prohibited.
• Handmade Holiday is a juried event. Applicants will be notified by Friday, March 17 of acceptance. Space is limited to 40 artists/vendors.
• Each vendor is provided and 8×8 display space with one table and two chairs. An extra table can be provided for a $5 service fee.
• Electricity is available upon request, participants are encouraged to bring additional lighting for their booth.
• Participating vendors consent to being photographed for future publicity and promotion.
• Vendors are solely responsible for the collection and payment of their own taxes, licenses, and insurance.
• Set up times: Friday, May 12 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. or Saturday from 7 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Vendors must be set up by 10:30 a.m. on the day of event.
