Mark your calendars as Wheeling Heritage, in partnership with The Health Plan, brings lunchtime entertainment back with Lunchtime Live! Starting July 15 and continuing each third Friday through October, the community is invited to enjoy their lunch hour at the Market Street Plaza with music from local artists.
Musicians for the series include local artists who perform a variety of music genres:
- Friday, July 15: Melody Rae brings lo-fi, pop, alternative-rock, folk, surf-rock and Americana inspired originals.
- Friday, Aug. 19: Jason Treuman’s acoustic act includes hits from the 1950s to current.
- Friday, Sept. 16: Tucker Riggleman punk, country-leaning, and always rock and roll in spirit catalog of songs pull from an eclectic list of influences while maintaining a voice all his own.
- Friday, Oct. 21: Chelsey Keding, Wheeling native who has performed everything from opera and musical theatre, to singing in a rock band and gospel choir. Chelsey will perform a variety of familiar songs for the crowd at Lunchtime Live!
Restaurants such as Tito’s Sloppy Doggs, The Bridge Tavern & Grill and Taqueria 304, Panda Chinese Kitchen, along with visiting food trucks will offer lunch on concert dates, although call ahead-orders are recommended. Mmm…Popcorn and Lucky Candies 2 will also be offering a variety of snacks and sweets to choose from.
