Join us for this month’s workshop where Pat Mercer will lead us through the process of making woven paper heart decorations using color combinations of your choosing. Pat is the maker behind Basket Case, a Wheeling-based handmade basket business. Pat’s baskets are influenced by various styles and materials from the Appalachian region and from various destinations that she’s traveled to. Most of her pieces combine function and form for a decorative piece with practical use. Unless specifically asked to weave an exact duplicate, Pat prefers to innovate and seldom repeats designs.
