After a month of public voting, Wheeling artist Sherrie Mestrovic’s design has been chosen for a mural at Kossuth Park.
Wheeling Heritage is exploring the creation of a Wheeling museum. The organization has hired Travis Henline, a history specialist, as Museum Project Manager, to identify and develop the concept.
Wheeling Heritage today announced it has hired Betsy Sweeny, a preservation specialist, as its Historic Preservation Program Manager to lead its historic preservation efforts.

Wheeling Heritage will host an opening reception for Hip Hop: A Black Tie Affair, on Feb. 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Artisan Center, 1400 Main Street. The exhibit will feature more than a dozen artists displaying photos, graffiti, and mixed-media pieces, as well as a video featuring area hip-hop artists performing a capella.
