First Friday Artist Spotlight Series with Alison Irvin
April 1 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Wheeling Heritage’s First Friday Artist Spotlight Series is a new event featuring a different local artist or maker each month. This event is designed to be a laid-back way of getting to know the artists that make our community a more vibrant place to live while creating your own work of art!
Our April Artist Spotlight Series will feature Alison Irvin, the owner and creator of Wanderland Creations. She will show you how she makes her polymer clay jewelry, and attendees will get to make their own piece of jewelry to take home!
Alison was born and raised in Wheeling, West Virginia and got into making polymer clay jewelry during the pandemic as a hobby. In June of 2021, that hobby turned into what is now, Wanderland Creations – a boho-chic polymer clay earring and accessory business designed with passion and hand-created with care.
Alison is currently working on obtaining a master’s degree in International Community Development, with the hope of transforming Wanderland Creations into a social enterprise that allows her to share her passion and empower youth to be creative!
Wheeling Heritage’s Artist Spotlight Series with Alison will be held on Friday, April 1 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Wheeling Artisan Center, 1400 Main Street, Wheeling, WV.
